RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core Technicians assist with training and coordinate the daily activities of the perioperative assistants on the unit.Review OR schedules to ensure the correct implants and instrument trays are at the hospital. Send email communication to the vendor reps letting them know case needs and case times.Handle issues with instrument trays and act as a liaison between the OR and SPD.Create new instrument trays and tray lists.Order supplies in Workday.Coordinate the On-Call schedule for the perioperative assistants.Communicate issues to the leadership in the department.

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
