Coremaker - 2nd shift

Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation — and we have a dynamic future ahead.​ As the Coremaker on the 2nd shift, you will operate coremaking equipment to ensure adherence to the correct manufacturing processes while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols. You Will: + Inspect completed cores for visual defects and ensure quality standards are met. + File, pack, and label completed cores. + Perform routine operational maintenance and cleaning of the coremaking machine. + Report any mechanical malfunctions or quality issues to maintenance or the supervisor. + Transport finished products to the designated storage area. + Cross-train between Redford and Shalco machines for operational versatility. + Perform routine housekeeping to maintain an organized, safe, and environmentally compliant work area. You Have: + High school diploma or GED preferred. + Ability to read and understand English preferred. + Physical capability to occasionally lift and move up to 35 pounds individually and up to 80 pounds with assistance. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
