Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for a Cleaning III position located in the Corinth, MS facility. This position will require operating programmable cleaning machinery.  The position will require program selection, parts loading and unloading and OPM (operator performed maintenance). An example of a Cleaning 3 position will be operating the Jen Fab.
 

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environmentMay require loading and unloading parts from washerMay require utilizing hoists, overhead cranes and/or electric pallet jack to move parts in and out of areaMay perform material handling, unloading parts from tubs or baskets according to production scheduleOperator will work with cleaning chemicals and be required to understand hazard awarenessOperation of a programmable CPU unit May require checking incoming core and entering dataCross training in other positions up to and including Salary Grade 3 may be required, based upon basic qualifications and physical requirements being metExamples of positions within Salary grade range include Cleaning 1, 2, 3, Disassembly 1, 2, Assembly 1, 2, Machining 1, 2, Logistics 1, 2 and/or Quality 1Reference other position postings for specific qualifications and physical requirementsUtilize various computer systems including email on a regular basisAll operators will adhere to Built in Safety guidelinesOperator should have attention to detail and be self-motivatedOperator will work in a team environmentOperator is expected to cross train in other areas of operations to provide flexibilityCandidate will work in an environment without close supervision
 

Basic Qualifications:

Knowledge of various cleaning operationsBasic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)Required to read/write and interpret documentsKnowledge of engines and componentsExperience with basic tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc.)

Top Candidates will also have:

Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and ExcelPrior use of hoistsMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of chemicals used in the engine and/or component cleaning processes

Physical Requirements:

Job may be physically demanding at times and must be able to handle high volume fast pace operationMay work in an environment with frequently changing temperaturesMay walk, squat and bend for intervals of 15-30 minutesMust be able to wear proper PPEMay be required to lift/push/pull heavy parts up to 30 lbs. multiple times per shiftMust be able to stand for up to 10+ hours per shift

Job Bid Eligibility Requirements:

Compensation & Benefits Offered!

Starting hourly pay rate of $20.20 (pay negotiations based on skills/experience)

This position is 2nd shift with an additional 7% night shift premium

Work Hours: 3PM - 1AM; Monday - Thursday

40-hour work weeks with potential for overtime

80 hours of vacation with an additional 24 hours of paid Personal Time Off (PTO)

10 Paid holidays

Summary Pay Range:

$20.20 - $26.30

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
