Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Corp Accounting, Revenue role in the manufacturing industry. The role will be based in Red Wing, Minnesota, and offers a blend of in-office and remote work. Responsibilities: • Assist with all revenue accounting functions to support accurate and timely financial reporting • Streamline revenue recognition processes and disseminate policies across the organization • Contribute to the month-end close process, including the preparation of relevant journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and account analysis • Fulfill internal revenue reporting needs for key stakeholders throughout the organization • Conduct regular analysis of balance sheet accounts and maintain monthly reconciliations • Manage the accounting for equipment and finance leases, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. This includes recording necessary journal entries, maintaining accurate lease records, and initiating new lease agreements in the accounting system. Requirements • Comprehensive knowledge and application of US GAAP • Proficient in Revenue Accounting and Financial Reporting • Experience in handling Balance Sheet Account and performing Monthly Reconciliation • Skilled in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation • Familiarity with Leases and Lease Agreements • Understanding of Revenue Recognition and Internal Revenue procedures • Adept at Policy formulation and ensuring its compliance • Competence in supervising teams and managing stakeholders • Ability to work with partners and manage competitive bids • Proficiency in making Journal Entries and performing account analysis • Experienced in executing Month End Close procedures • Ability to optimize processes for improved efficiency • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication • Knowledge of 'About Time' software would be advantageous • A strong background in Finance is required.
