Corp Sr. Purchasing Agent - System Administrator

Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

Responsible for overall maintenance of the BirchStreet Systems software for all Mohegan properties.Maintains Global Item Master (GIM) and Local Item Masters (LIM) for all properties.Creates and uploads additional templates of large volume data files.Builds and maintains order sheets for properties.Creates custom reports needed by properties through BirchStreet Report writer tool.Works with properties to develop process updates to support operational needs.Offers both on-site and remote training to users as needed.Work with Corporate Director of Purchasing and properties to expand software use with available functionality.Work with BirchStreet Casino Team to develop future enhancements to support operational needs.Expands Punch Out and Adopted vendors at each property to create efficiency.Works with IT/Transformation teams to support integrations with BirchStreet.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists with supervising Corporate Purchasing activities in the absence of the Director.Assists with issuing purchase orders and supporting procurement process.Develops relationships and offers additional support to other internal departments and properties.Reports potential fraud risks or unethical behaviors of vendors, co-workers, or other Mohegan personnel.

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.Five years of experience as a Purchasing Agent in a high volume, complex casino, hotel, or similar environment.Must have strong negotiating skills and extensive knowledge of the bidding process.Proficiency with data integration and mapping.Strong technical skills and understanding of cloud-based software functionality.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Strong knowledge of ERP and Procurement systems (Workday/BirchStreet Systems).Ability to host meetings and represent Mohegan in negotiations.

Training Requirements:

Ability to navigate in BirchStreet Systems procurement software and understand functionality.General knowledge of Mohegan and the properties we operate and manage.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Office work environment.Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.Must be able to walk large areas of the casino property when meeting and escorting vendors.Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.Must have the ability to work remotely when and if required.Must have the ability to travel to other Mohegan properties to offer support.
