CORP VP, PLANNING/ANALYTICS
Position Summary:The Corporate Vice President, Financial Planning & Analytics (�FP&A�) will serve as a critical leader within Scripps Health's financial division. This position is responsible for overseeing and advancing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics functions to support strategic initiatives and operational excellence. The VP will work closely with executive and operational leadership to provide data-driven insights that influence decision-making and optimize financial performance across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Financial Leadership:Develop and implement a comprehensive financial planning and analysis strategy aligned with Scripps Health's mission and goals.Serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO and senior leadership on financial and business matters.Foster a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making across the organization.Budgeting & Forecasting:Lead the annual budgeting and multi-year strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and financial targets.Oversee the development of accurate financial forecasts and provide in-depth variance analyses, offering actionable recommendations to stakeholders.Lead the continued refinement and use of Scripps Health's cost accounting system.Financial Analysis & Reporting:Drive the creation of robust financial models and analytics to assess performance, identify risks/opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.Design and implement effective KPIs, dashboards, and reports to monitor operational and financial performance.Deliver timely, relevant, and actionable insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders.Collaboration & Leadership:Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and promote financial literacy across the organization.Develop and mentor a high-performing FP&A team to enhance the quality and efficiency of financial planning, analysis, and decision support functions.Innovation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize FP&A processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and innovations that impact financial planning and healthcare analytics.Position Summary:The Corporate Vice President, Financial Planning & Analytics (�FP&A�) will serve as a critical leader within Scripps Health's financial division. Demonstrated expertise in healthcare finance, including an understanding of hospital and health system operations, payer trends, and cost containment strategies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities. Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and related technology platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
