Corp. Business Analyst
**Description** Business Analyst Asplundh Tree Expert (Asplundh) is seeking a Business Analyst to join a digital project teamreporting to the Manager, Project Management. The Project Team provides support to projects in technology across key parts of the business. The team is looking for a Business Analyst who is dedicated to process analysis and supportive documentation. They will extract, document, and analyze requirements around business challenges, and then produce data-driven solutions. This role has a history of delivering projects on time and thriving in a startup-like environment. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: + Run discovery sessions for the team with multi-level understanding of the information provided + Identify and develop processes that improve efficiency and derive value for the organization + Help define system requirements and translate them to operations for end user materials + Develop and maintain in-depth documentation including process flow diagrams, technology schemas, and design plans + Conduct quality assurance and user acceptance testing efforts during implementation of all system enhancements + Work closely with various departments across the business to assist in delivery of successful projects Minimum Qualifications: + Track record of successfully driving organizational change + Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills + Experience managing or overseeing external consultants + Talent for translating technical concepts for non-technical users + Ability to work in and deliver results with small project teams + Experience with software development life cycle + Ability to assess a situation, seek multiple perspectives, gather more information if necessary, and identify key issues that need to be addressed; breaking information into components, patterns and relationships, probing for further information or greater understanding of a problem. + Minimum 4 years of experience in a Business Analyst role Education & Experience + Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field + Expertise or experience in working with the utility industry + Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools + Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing + Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues + Strong aptitude for process improvement and change management **Benefits** We offer a competitive range of benefits to support our employees’ health, well-being, and financial security.
