General Description: The Corp Market Management Analyst works with USI’s smaller/regional employee benefits and/or property & casualty carriers to ensure smooth transfer of information and proper set up of acquired books of business in carrier systems.
Responsibilities:
· Under manager supervision, analyze acquired companies’ carrier code structure to understand the financial implications of acquired USI business.
o Review incoming contracts for compliance with USI standards.
o Analyze incoming business to determine whether contract codes can be merged with carrier before integration into USI contracts.
· Under manager supervision, complete financial analysis of existing USI book of business to determine most advantageous approach to integrating acquired business into USI.
· Follow integration through completion of carrier changes including executed contracts, commissions paid to USI and business moved.
o Communicate with carrier regarding acquisitions and/or organizational changes with appropriate supporting documentation.
o Provide correct books of business for carrier to transfer from a larger database.
o Facilitate setup of associate access to carrier websites, download of carrier data, commission payments, tax reporting.
o Complete agency profiles and other paperwork required to get agency appointments.
o Handle calls and meetings with carrier and USI associates at various levels.
· Track integration progress against department success metrics.
· Resolve field and carrier contract issues and inquiries.
o Investigate issues using available data and documents.
o Communicate with field associates, accounting and operations regarding any changes to agency/producer codes.
o Facilitate appointments to establish USI as broker for new carriers.
· Develop strong working relationships with regional carrier operations team.
· Escalate contracts and carrier issues to management when appropriate.
· Refer producers for appointments and provide support to the Enterprise Licensing Center “ELC” with licensing guidance and information.
· Submit invoices to accounting for carrier Appointments Fees, if required.
