Insight Global is seeking an Accountant for a Midstream oil and gas company sitting onsite in Downtown Houston 5 days a week. The Accountant will assist in preparation of schedules, journal entries, and analysis for each of the following aspects of corporate accounting team. Amortization schedules for prepaids, tax, and insurance
Monitoring accruals Organizing meeting as it relates to ARO, Insurance, tax and regulatory teams Preparation of work papers to support the companys financial statements. Assist with the audits of the annual financial statements. Research and prepare journal entries related to corporate amortization schedules. Assists Corporate Accounting team with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting, as needed. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed. Monitor and complete AFEs in a timely manner to ensure all Assets created. GL reconciliations and uploads to our new OneStream software. Works closely with corporate support teams in assuring all appropriate expenses are captured in accordance with GAAP. Secures payment from third parties/affiliates and notifies Treasury on expected payment and timing.
