**Summary:** Meta is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a full-time position on our global Corporate Accounting team, based in our Dublin office. Work within a Corporate Accounting global process function, with responsibility for key financial reporting areas (P&L and BS) 2. Help define and implement scalable accounting processes related to month-end and quarter-end financial close 3. Contribute to the quarterly SEC reporting cycle 4. Coordinate and review the work of our outsourced partners 5. Oversee US GAAP month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis 6. Partner with our global team to optimize worldwide processes, systems & controls 7. Lead projects to identify, design, test and roll-out new financial reporting systems and tools 8. Ensure compliance with key controls and audit requirements, and provide accounting support to our statutory compliance teams 9. Create close business partnerships and manage service levels with third party service providers **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 10. Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA) 11. Relevant industry PQE (Post-Qualification Experience) with large, fast-growing, multinational company 12. Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SOX (IFRS and local GAAP is also desirable) 13. Demonstrated computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel (experience with Oracle ERP and/or Hyperion Essbase is an advantage) 14. Team player and leader who is very comfortable working as part of a larger team distributed across multiple geographic locations 15. Demonstrated planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills 16. Demonstrated attention to detail yet possesses an understanding of the 'big picture' and the importance of risk mitigation and a controls environment 17.
