My client, a prominent REIT in NYC, is looking to hire a Corporate Accountant to join the team. In this role you will handle the GL/Journal Entry input and the reconciliations for the company's corporate function, assist in the preparation of the 10-Ks/10-Qs, and perform internal financial analysis. You will also prepare cash payments, prepare entity-level compliance documents, and assist in the preparation of any adhoc analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team that promotes from within and has strong management as well. You will have a ton of exposure internally and be well positioned to learn from your colleauges. The company requires 5 days in the office-an office that is centrally located near Grand Central Station and is newly renovated. If you have 1+ years of experience in Accounting and/or have public accounting experience, and have a desire to work in Real Estate this could be the right opportunity for you.
