Will also be responsible for certain balance sheet accounting and act asthe liaison between the accounting departments and accounts payable. The Corporate Accountant will act as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support optimal business decision making.
Location: Downers Grove, IL, Hybrid - Tuesdays in office
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Prepare monthly account reconciliations as assignedAllocate all AP clearing items on a monthly basisAct as a liaison between AP and AccountingReview and analyze revenue, expense and balance sheet accounts to ensure that proper coding procedures are adhered to and making corrections as neededPerform additional accounting duties and ad hoc reporting as requiredResponsible for entering fixed asset information into Oracle fixed asset module and assist in maintaining our fixed asset sub ledger and fixed asset inventoryAssist in the departments accounting for the unclaimed propertyUtilize hands-on accounting experience and in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices.Perform complex accounting activities and analysisMaintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information ? Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the departmentAbides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standardsPerforms other duties as assignedPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bachelor’s degree in AccountingThree to five years accounting/finance experienceSolid month end close experienceExperience working with multi-sites is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft ExcelStrong communication skills and interpersonal skillsAbility to perform under tight deadlineTo apply via text, text 6961 to 334-518-4376.
