Corporate Accounting Manager
**Summary:** Meta is seeking a skilled accounting manager to join our Corporate Accounting team. The individual will be a self-starter and work with limited direction while taking full ownership of their areas of responsibility. The individual will be expected to problem solve, manage projects, design innovative technologies that can scale our accounting processes, and exercise good business judgment while performing their functions. They are expected to have business acumen coupled with an accounting background and communication & partnership skills to effectively facilitate information flow between cross-functional business partners and the Finance organization. **Required Skills:** Corporate Accounting Manager Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk assessment framework to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process and control improvements that enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. 3. Lead projects to identify, design, test and roll-out new financial reporting systems and tools. Partner with our global team to optimize worldwide processes, systems & controls. 4. Oversee the development and maintenance of accounting policies that ensure compliance with GAAP and alignment with business strategy and related accounting guidance. 5. Develop and maintain relationships with internal team members and cross-functional teams globally, including legal, compliance, engineering, tax, technical accounting, and risk teams. 6. Facilitate effective communication and information flow between cross-functional business partners and the Finance organization. 7. Ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and analytical reviews. 8. Design and implement scalable accounting processes related to month-end and quarter-end financial close. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 9. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields 10. 12+ years of accounting experience 11. Knowledge of general accounting or auditing principles 12. Knowledge and experience with risk assessment and internal controls 13. A proven business acumen with partnership experience 14. Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with leadership 15. Skilled in comprehending end-to-end systems that impact accounting & financial reporting processes 16. Experience with financial statements and financial analysis 17. Experience with Excel, Powerpoint and other Microsoft tools 18. Experience executing and delivering high-quality work in a dynamic, fast paced, and deadline driven environment. 19. Experience working independently as a significant individual contributor with minimal guidance. **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 20. Combination of experience working in public accounting and a technology company 21.
