Description
While in this role, you will be responsible for credit underwriting, monitoring, and portfolio management of new and existing commercial banking relationships to ensure strong credit quality and achieve efficient internal processes to retain and expand customer relationships. You may also engage in underwriting and effective credit and risk administration with particular emphasis on financial analysis/modeling, risk evaluation, ongoing portfolio maintenance activities and regulatory compliance and customer support. Primary responsibilities include
Responsible for proactive credit and risk administration of assigned portfolio accounts in the assigned portfolio.Structuring, underwriting, and documenting new business, renewals and modifications as the credit expert within the first line of defense.Providing client management support for assigned portfolio and directing client interaction on standard credit and risk follow-up issues.Actively engaging with Relationship managers on progress, issues, and challenges regarding a particular customer relationship or portfolio concern.Handle multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and schedules associated with maintaining portfolio and compliance with credit and risk policies.Manages moderately complex credits.Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
5-7+ years of experience in Commercial Banking Portfolio Management Willingness to adapt and respond appropriately to new demands, priorities, challenges, and obstaclesHighly effective in establishing relationships with key stakeholdersUnderstanding and applying credit policy, and credit monitoring and risk administration practicesExpected to have a good level of credit experience, including legal documentation, and negotiating credit structures both internally and externallyHours & Work Schedule
