Key Responsibilities:As the Corporate Communications & Channels Specialist, you will:
Online Community and Media Management: Lead all aspects of initiatives to elevate JTI’s visibility across traditional and digital channels. You will coordinate online ambassador programs, internal awareness campaigns, and supervise social media operations. Ensure alignment with Legal to address any blocking issues and handle critical matters when necessary. Ensure smooth implementation of initiatives by managing operational needs. Coordinate the creation of content aligned with JTI's Corporate Communications engagement strategies. Write press releases, articles, captions, and other copy as needed. Gather supporting content through existing company assets or by assigning agencies to produce new material. Copy edit and provide feedback to ensure high-quality content. Ensure content calendars are followed and aligned with JTI’s objectives to drive continuous relevance and awareness. Social Listening and Media Monitoring: Apply tools and services to monitor and assess JTI’s performance in generating awareness, media mileage, and sentiment. Quickly identify potential PR issues to ensure timely responses. Analyze data to devise recommendations for optimizing channel content and engagement strategies, and share insights with internal collaborators to improve understanding of the market landscape. Collaborator Engagement, Coordination, and Events: Cultivate and nurture relationships with media members, influencers, and important external collaborators. Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and seminars. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of strategic recommendations and direction, and compliance. Requirements: Educational Background: University degree or equivalent experience in Communication Arts, Marketing, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of proven work experience in PR, marketing communications, social media/community management, digital marketing, or content writing with copy editing experience. Support CC&PA initiatives across various communication channels. Proficiency in copywriting and copy editing for digital and traditional media Expertise in social media content and community management. Ability to source and engage with both on-ground and digital communities Experience in online community building and engagement. Competence in managing digital and on-ground internal and external events Strong public relations skills with an existing network of media partners, content creators, and influencers. Proficiency in social listening and social media analytics Working knowledge of digital and social media marketing. Experience in agency/supplier and internal collaborator management Ability to manage and monitor campaign budgets.
