Vanguard has an exciting new Corporate Communications Manager; Crisis and Issues opportunity open in Malvern, PA. You will serve as a senior member of the Crisis Communications & Issues Management team, developing and maintaining a programmatic framework for issue evaluation and management. Create and execute strategic and tactical response plans and messaging while supporting real-time communication needs. Partner and collaborate effectively with key partners across the organization.
Responsibilities
Consults on and develops communications strategy to enable strategic business outcomes. Leads the communication development, delivery, and measurement across a variety of business needs.Protects Vanguard's reputation through all communications across various channels and platforms. Leads communication consultants to proactively source and deliver business-critical communications.Drives the development of communication agendas with high-quality communications material across a variety of formats, platforms and channels.Drives the impact of the collective communication strategy. Ensures the execution of all phases of the communications process, including conception, implementation, and measurement. Partners closely with senior leaders to advise and develop communications strategies that meet current and future needs of Vanguard.Balances external practice with internal brand. Serve as Vanguard's authority on industry best practices, emerging trends, and their validity in Vanguard's environment and culture to encourage adoption as appropriate.Develops and strengthens working relationships with key influencers and executives across the organization and in the industry to support communications and business objectives.Spearheads continuous improvements in Vanguard's communication strategy and implementation. Measures and monitors client satisfaction and makes recommendations based on feedback gathered from various sources.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
