The Corporate Controller is responsible for ensuring financial control and governance within their respective corporate function. They maintain the integrity of the financial data and provide financial leadership, manage financial risks, ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while contributing to finance processes improvements and initiatives that aligns with organizational objectives. 

The Corporate Controller is also responsible for working with Finance business partners and other finance controllers managing finance processes, performing risk management, budgeting, auditing, and other financial duties. They play a key role in supporting business decisions by working with Finance business partners and other controllers to provide detailed financial insights at a corporate function level and are expected to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness across the organization's operations. 

Your responsibilities:

•    Promote a culture of financial awareness and accountability within the corporate function, present financial status to the Leadership, and support in business decision-making processes.
•    Manage corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and the development of internal controls and policies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
•    Ensure quality of financial reporting acting as second line of defence cooperating with RTR team
•    Actively contribute to the finance processes and accounting systems improvement initiatives and provide guidance in terms of implementation of policies and procedures
•    Identify potential financial and business risks within corporate function, develop risk mitigation strategies, and work with other controllers to ensure robust internal controls and coordination with JM-wide audits.
•    Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements, and prepare financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs, offering insightful analysis and recommendations.

Requirements for the role:

•    Hold a University Degree or equivalent, combined with demonstrated experience in controllership, financial management, or similar roles, including financial reporting and forecasting.
•    Possess a professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
•    Understand the industry, market dynamics, and organizational strategic goals to provide accurate financial reporting, analysis, and guidance.
•    Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, with desirable skills in analytic tools such as PowerBI and SAP Analytics in the Cloud.
•    Fluent in English with strong quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide insights and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
•    Focus on creating value and efficiency for the business, adapting to changing objectives, and prioritizing results.
•    Demonstrate self-discipline, the ability to work independently under pressure, and a hands-on, target-driven approach.
