This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is a hybrid position. You can work remotely from either Wisconsin or Illinois. When in the office, you will work at 7974 UW Health Ct in Middleton, WI.

We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to:
Assist and manage the many and varied legal affairs of UW Health. Provide counsel on health care laws including those on privacy, Medicare, Medicaid and other government programs, fraud and abuse, physician self-referral and anti-kickback laws, and EMTALA. Provide guidance on billing, coding, and other reimbursement matters for compliance with government and commercial health plan requirements. Provide counsel on medical staff matters, including bylaws, medical staff corrective action, and peer review, disciplinary actions of medical staff and house staff. Negotiate, draft, and review contracts, including physician services agreements and affiliation agreements.At UW Health, you will have:
