Description Robert Half Legal is partnering with an industry leading company in the sustainable technology space on their search for a new attorney to add to their team. As Corporate Counsel, you will play a critical role in supporting the company’s legal objectives by drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, managing the organization’s contract lifecycle management system, coordinating with external litigation counsel, and providing advice on general corporate legal matters. This position will report to the Chief Legal Officer, onsite in Gilbert, Arizona at their company headquarters with Fridays from home. This is a contract to hire position. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Contracts + Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, service, licensing, NDAs, and partnership contracts. + Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial agreements align with corporate policies and objectives. + Provide contract-related advice and guidance to drive risk mitigation and regulatory compliance. Contract Management System Oversight + Oversee the company’s contract lifecycle management (CLM) system, ensuring timely updates, accurate documentation, and process optimization. Litigation and Dispute Management + Act as the primary point of contact for managing relationships with outside litigation counsel. + Collaborate with external counsel and internal stakeholders on litigation strategies, case updates, and risk assessments. + Oversee discovery, records requests, and other pre-litigation efforts to mitigate any legal exposures. General Corporate Legal Support + Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters as needed. + Stay updated on relevant legal developments impacting the business and recommend best practices. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as In-House Counsel or in a similar role • Proficiency in commercial contracts, contract management, and contract negotiation • Expertise in drafting contracts and managing customer contracts Interviewing now, please send resume to be considered!
