Chair and manage a cross-functional committee/team focused on advancing responsible environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals while supporting the company’s interests and stakeholders Counsel colleagues on trade compliance questions and issues. Help business groups navigate the potential impact of emerging trade compliance regulations and trends, including tariff, export controls, and more. Oversee the company’s third-party due diligence process for third-party sales organizations and other business partners.Guide internal clients on regulatory and compliance mattersSupervise the work of outside lawyers hired to assist the company with specialized legal servicesWork with division leadership and outside counsel to negotiate lease agreements, construction contracts, and property purchase/sale documentsResearch, review and monitor new and updated regulations pertinent to the companyDevelop and administer trainingPerform all other duties as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
J.D. from an accredited law school & membership in good standing with any state bar3-5 years of relevant legal experience at a law firm or a combination of law firm and in-house experienceA willingness and interest to stretch beyond a traditional legal role and work closely with operations, supply chain/logistics, and EHS colleagues is a plusExperience with global industrial manufacturing companies is a plusSKILLS & ABILITIES
