We are looking to add a litigation attorney to our nine-person legal team. We are a fast-paced, innovative, passionate, and enthusiastic group that strives to support our Nucor teammates every day, while also maintaining real work-life balance. Role will primarily require in-office attendance.

Job functions will include:

Manage portfolio of litigation and regulatory matters Oversee all aspects of matter management, including case strategy, selection and direction of outside counsel, investigation, discovery and budgeting Provide day-to-day counseling and advice on labor and employment issues Provide strategic legal advice to business partners on litigation and labor and employment practices Develop and present training and education on best practices in the workplace Assist with other legal matters, as necessary 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications: Strong academic credentials, including Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school, and member of the bar of a U.S. jurisdiction. 4-7 years of litigation experience working at a law firm or in-house legal department. Knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations. Preferred Qualifications:
