The AvePoint Corporate Development team focuses on M&A, strategic growth opportunities and the continued development of AvePoint’s corporate strategy. This role offers a great opportunity to work closely with key executives and internal cross-functional stakeholders to assess, develop and execute on strategies to help direct AvePoint’s growth. 
 
What your day to day will look like:  

Support the full lifecycle of acquisitions, including new transaction origination and deal execution including due diligence, financial modeling and negotiations Identify new, innovative technology trends and markets, and recommend high-potential acquisitions and investments Perform analysis to help assess the valuation and potential execution path forward on transactions Build relationships with internal cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, finance and legal functions Additionally, the ideal candidate is interested in taking on financial planning & analysis responsibilities over time Support the assessment and prioritization of corporate strategic initiatives 

Minimum Qualifications: 

2+ years' experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development or financial diligence/accounting roles, ideally in the technology industry   Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements Excellent attention to detail Demonstrated analytical skills (including financial modelling), fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and other quantitative analyses Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating effectively across all levels and teams across the organization Demonstrated understanding of technology with an acumen to engage with product and engineering leaders on tech roadmaps 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience in SaaS financial modelling Software industry experience
