Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to champion initiatives and programs that build IEEE brand awareness and loyalty, encourage community outreach, increase engagement, promote awareness of IEEE's subscription products and content, and coordinate sales efforts in India and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships and networks with select IEEE Xplore customers, corporate decision-makers and members at key corporations and institutions.
• Provide competitive intelligence and market expertise to advocate for targeted account plan programs
•  Actively pursue relationships with society executives to develop ongoing engagement activities with an intent to amplify and enhance IEEE society reputation in India
• Design and lead complex events to support sales and prospecting
•  Evaluate local events for scalability and larger outreach opportunities
• Oversee and contribute to relationship strategies for IEEE’s largest corporate subscribers, referred to as the “Strategic 31” - a collaboration plan for large corporate retention and growth.
•  Identify key corporations in India that IEEE should plan on addressing or getting involved with.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or above – in Communications, marketing, business, engineering management or related
 
Work Experience

• 10-15 years  of leadership level in tech corporations or nonprofits serving the tech industry . Good project management & customer relationship management.

• Demonstrated success providing strategic leadership in the technology industry.
• Expertise in creating visibility, branding, networking and social media engagements and campaigns that attract top-tier technology corporations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills: the ability to work effectively with customers, volunteers, and staff; superior judgment and diplomatic skills.
• Substantial ambition, confidence, drive, and energy.
• Strategic mindset, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Expertise in marketing, expanding communities, building impactful events and growing event participation
