Corporate Events Marketing Manager, Alliances
As a member of the corporate events marketing team, you will be instrumental in helping grow our business through the use of event-based marketing channels. You’ll work cross-functionally and help lead the event marketing and branding efforts to drive lead generation and develop brand awareness.
A successful candidate should have experience creating not only the events experience, but ongoing pre- and post-event engagement, such as leveraging event content for additional on-demand availability, webinars, emails, blogs and other post-event activities as well. They are also responsible for setting and meeting objectives, tactical execution, budget tracking, lead generation, onsite management, results measurement, and post-event analysis for all events.
The Corporate Events Marketing Manager, Alliances should be exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, have strong communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Previous event management experience with AWS, Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce Corporate Events is preferred.
Primary responsibilities include:
Manage marketing and branding efforts at global alliance conferences (i.e. Salesforce, AWS, Microsoft events)Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Marketing, Creative, and Demand Generation to understand the business environment, brand, and messaging for each event Manage the entire program/event execution process including registration/hotels, agenda, contract negotiation, speaker logistics, executive meetings, marketing and branding materials, pre- and post-show communication (internally & externally), lead tracking, and nurturing. Manage relationships with agencies/vendors and participate in discovery and RFP processes for new vendorsDevelop and collaborate on high-impact, cost-effective marketing activities that support channel and field efforts through alliance eventsPlan strategically with the sales team leads on appropriate marketing activities and work closely with the channel team and partners to explore joint opportunities Review and report on event ROI and performance to determine successes, recommendations, and best practices for future campaigns and eventsSuccess Factors:
5+ years of experience in managing large event conferences, ideally supporting a direct, enterprise sales force in the technology industry and executive attendees is preferredDirect experience with large Salesforce, AWS and Microsoft eventsExperience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across the globeA problem-solver accustomed to working with a sense of urgencyStrong attention to detail with the ability to successfully organize and handle multiple priorities at once and manage time effectivelyAble to work independently, managing various projects and prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environmentBe a fast learner; open to learning and building expertise in supporting tech platforms, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Splash, 6Sense and other platformsWillingness to travel to various locations for events up to 30%, including some weekends
