Corporate Facilities Intern

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Corporate Facilities Team at our Davidson Corporate Campus. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in facilities management, asset management, and maintenance planning within a leading global company. The intern will work closely with our experienced facilities professionals and contribute to the development and implementation of key facilities management programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Create a Planned Maintenance Program: Develop and implement a comprehensive Planned Maintenance (PM) Program for the Davidson Corporate Campus, ensuring all facilities equipment is included.

Create and Assign Fixed Asset Tags: Generate new fixed asset tags, assign and apply these tags to the respective assets, and record the assets onto the fixed asset list.

Inventory Campus Facilities Equipment: Conduct a thorough inventory of all campus facilities equipment and ensure that all items are loaded onto the Benchmark tool.

Record Descriptive Information: Take detailed descriptive information about the fixed assets and ensure it is accurately recorded onto the Maintenance Manager tool in Benchmark.

Develop PM Activities: Ensure that all assets have a defined scope of work for each PM activity, including frequency and responsible person tied to the PM activity.

Document Maintenance and Repair Costs: Document PM activities with updated data about the asset, including any maintenance and repair costs associated with that asset.

Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong interest in facilities management, asset management, and maintenance planning. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software applications. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and contribute to the success of the team.

Compensation:    

Base Pay Range: $  20.50 -25.00

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
