The Corporate Treasury team is looking for a talented and motivated Corporate Finance Lead to develop, implement and administer enterprise strategic cash deployment plans that contribute to shareholder value and support executive-level financial insights. The Corporate Finance Lead position is a unique opportunity to be an integral member of a global finance organization and a leader of a high performing team that has a major impact on the Enterprise.

What You Will Do:

Develop cash deployment strategies including financial metric modeling with a strong focus on maintaining financial strengthAnalyze alternatives and prepare shareholder return recommendations including the quarterly dividend and share repurchaseAnalyze and prepare recommendations for pension and other post-retirement benefit plan funding strategiesPrepare financial projections and model scenarios in collaboration with the Corporate Forecasting teamPrepare executive-level monthly/quarterly financial reporting commensurate with the responsibilities of the deskAnalyze and evaluate impacts of M&A strategies on corporate financial healthWork with Corporate Cash, Internal Funding and Corporate Tax teams to ensure adequate cash availability for deployment on a global basisMonitor enterprise cash flow, working capital, and cash conversion cycle to recommend improvements to drive increased free cash flowAnalyze and recommend new and unique financial strategies that support the enterprise strategy

What You Have:

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Expert understanding of the value and necessities of accuracy with the ability to complete tasks with a high level of precision.Communicate and Present Complex Concepts: Ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to communicate complex technical concepts in simple, clear language adapted to the appropriate audience; knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment with decision making processes and associated tools/techniques.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques including the ability to establish and maintain healthy, working business relationships.Financial Markets: Knowledge of the products, types, competitors, customer base, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments.Financial Analysis: Knowledge of financial analysis within the principals of treasury tools; ability to read, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from treasury and financial materials.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administrationExperience in a progressive, finance-related role and experience advising senior leaders while driving executive-level insightsStrong ability to interpret and draw conclusions analytically in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of reporting and forecasting processes and methodologies, working capital management and cash deployment

Summary Pay Range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
