Gee Automotive Companies is one of the largest independently owned automotive groups, originating in the Pacific Northwest. With recent acquisitions in Arizona and California, Gee Automotive can now say we span the entire West Cost – Washington State (Seattle and Spokane Metros), Oregon (Portland Metro), Idaho, California, and Arizona. This position is based out of Portland, Oregon.

We are looking for a Corporate Fixed Operations Director to oversee a geography of both domestic and import franchises. Our ideal candidate must be a dynamic self-starter, guided by an insurmountable amount of personal integrity, who knows how to build and implement successful processes that deliver profitable results. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success and play a critical role in helping to move-the-needle of our Fixed Operations performance by driving operational efficiency, enhancing the customer purchase experience, and maximizing revenue opportunities while managing expenses.

Position Overview

As the Corporate Fixed Operations Director, you will be responsible for supporting our General Managers and Department Managers in achieving budgeted revenue, expense, and net profit results. In this role, you will be tasked with implementing corporate initiatives, collaborating with dealership personnel to solve problems, while achieving budgeted revenue and net profit targets. Execute a strategic plan for the automotive business within the assigned region aligning with the overall company objectives. Monitor, evaluate and develop the performance of the Dealership Management staff and their subsequent teams by ensuring they meet or exceed key performance indicators and customer satisfaction targets.

 

Corporate Fixed Operations Director Job Responsibilities

Provide training, support and guidance to General Managers and Department Managers, promoting and inspiring a culture of collaboration.

Ensure achievement of manufacturer benchmarks by managing and further understanding the specific requirements set forth by each OEM regionally.

Monitor and analyze aftersales performance data to identify opportunities and challenges, implementing corrective action when needed.

Analyzes department budgets to identify areas in which profit opportunities can be maximized or cost can be minimized, and operating budget can be achieved.

Ensure operational excellence by overseeing day to day business operations within the platform, ensuring efficiency, cost effectiveness, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Provide performance updates to the senior leadership team.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align regional activities with company-wide objectives.

Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Who will I report to?

You will report to the Vice President of Fixed Operations.

 

Corporate Fixed Operations Director Benefits and Compensation

Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000+ per year based upon experience.
