This role will support the Human Resources department and be responsible for security and administrative duties. This position will require initiative, judgment, independent decision making and guest service skills. This position will require the team member to wear a Security uniform (black shirt, blue blazer with Security badge emblem).
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:
Answers and routes phone calls in a professional manner.Greets visitors and welcomes them with courteous and professional attitude.Position is required to learn and execute all aspects of building security including efficient on emergency protocols / processes; evacuations, active shooter situations, fire, water, etc. Knowledge of building as it relates to exists, evacuations, etc.Distributes incoming and outgoing mail, including regular mail as well as FedEx and UPS.Assists with general office duties: photocopying, scanning, typing and filing.Orders and restocks supplies – beverages, snacks, water and office supplies.Performs other administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned. QualificationsJob Requirements:
One or more years in Security positionHigh School diploma/GED required.One or more years of professional administrative experience.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Excellent phone, communication and listening skills.Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal and organizational skills.Candidate must be customer service oriented and maintain a professional attitude at all times.Work Environment:
Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be in operating areas.
