Corporate & Government Business Development Manager
Job Purpose and Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Corporate & Government Business Development Manager to join our Business-to-Business Sales & Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with corporate and government clients, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the office automation sector, focusing on corporate clients, large enterprises, and government entities.Global Account Management: Manage and expand relationships with Canon Global Accounts, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for growth.Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships  with key decision-makers, understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions.Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.Solution Selling: Present office automation solutions, including hardware, software, and services, aligning offerings with client needs.Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product marketing, Finance and service, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.CRM Utilization: Leverage Salesforce CRM to manage client interactions, track sales activities, and generate insightful reports.Reporting: Monitor sales metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to senior management.

What we ask

Education:   Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales within the office automation, technology or related industry.

 

You will need

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong negotiation and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.Familiarity with office automation products, solutions, and industry trends.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM for managing sales processes and client relationships.Experience presenting to C-level executives and other senior decision-makers.
