Job Description

Program Summary:

The Corporate Human Resources Internship at Great Wolf Lodge’s Chicago headquarters offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on HR experience while making a meaningful impact on the future of our HR organization. During this 10-12 week program, you’ll work on high-impact projects across various HR disciplines, including HR generalist functions, talent development, recruitment marketing, learning & development, and benefits.

This internship provides real-world business exposure, professional development opportunities, and access to a dynamic team environment within the hospitality and entertainment industry. In addition to meaningful work, you’ll participate in networking events, career development workshops, and team-building activities to maximize your experience

Experiences You Will Gain: 

Hands-on experience collaborating with Corporate and Executive HR teams on key talent management initiatives, including recruitment marketing, organizational communication, employee engagement, staffing, benefits and training.Industry exposure to the hospitality and entertainment sectors, gaining insights into HR operations at a national level.Analytical skills development, working with tools to assess trends in DEI, engagement, and recognition programs to drive future success.Strategic HR insight, providing recommendations to enhance talent planning and development across the organization.Impactful projects, working on initiatives that support our 12,000+ employees nationwide.


Basic Qualifications & Skills:

Currently enrolled in a Master’s or MBA program with a focus on Human Resources Management, Industrial/Labor Relations, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field.GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).Unrestricted U.S. work authorization (sponsorship not provided).Hybrid work environment: Must be available to work Tues/Wed/Thurs in the downtown Chicago corporate office, with optional remote work on Mon/Fri.Up to 3 years of prior part-time, internship, or professional work experience.Employment is contingent upon a successful background check.

About the Great Wolf Corporate Internship Program:

Estimated Salary Range

$21/hr (undergraduate) - $23/hr (graduate)

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and other perks.
