Corporate Investment Bank- Production Associate

Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Marketing & Communications narrates our global narrative our story around the world using multiple channels and platforms. Our team, composed of content strategists, integrated marketers, press officers and executive communicators across the three main regions in North America, Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), has three main goals: Protect and promote the brand, drive business growth and lead engagement. 

As a Production Associate on the Corporate Investment Marketing and Communications team you will work with the Video & Podcast team to support the Corporate Investment Bank Marketing and Communication (Marketing Communications) strategy. You also will collaborate with business partners across the Corporate Investment Bank and at JPMorgan Chase to produce engaging and compelling audio content that empowers our clients and drives the J.P. Morgan brand. You will help manage our audio production pipeline, especially with script writing compelling narratives that showcase our best-in-class thought leadership, the diverse portfolio of our business and the expertise of our executives and clients. 

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate internal and external stakeholders through various production cycles, including podcast and video consideration. Review and edit transcripts and audio files for J.P. Morgan’s “Making Sense” podcast channel Supporting Podcasts including research, script writing, scheduling and coordinating recordings, editing transcripts and audio files, managing the content review and approvals process, copywriting Episode titles and descriptions, and liaising with vendors Support coordination and organization of weekly production schedule and recording of guests either remotely or in studio for both audio and video Maintain editorial calendar for “Making Sense” Pay close attention to engagement metrics to make data-driven content recommendations Identify new and topical content ideas, as well as contribute to developing and executing distribution strategies, including potential for cross-channel or multi-format content Occasionally assist on video production needs for our internal and external platforms including jpmorgan.com, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, as well as internal Intranet site Leverage internal and external resources to develop and pitch content ideas, working closely with CIB Video & Podcast team members to execute strategic media solutions for stakeholders Develop a strong understanding of J.P. Morgan brand standards to ensure vendors and agencies meet content quality expectations Work closely with marketers and communicators from across the CIB to develop project scope and ensure projects align with audio and video strategy and MarComms goals, including creating and managing production timelines and ensuring budgets and team resources are aligned

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Minimum three years of experience working in media creating compelling audio / video content (news, television, digital video, creative agency) Familiarity with audio formats and best practices for podcast production and distribution Proven track record of producing content through all phases of production Highly organized, creative, collaborative thinker with a passion for audio and video storytelling Strong time, organizational and project management skills Experience with on set protocols and basic audio production equipment Knowledge of audio & video post-production, including knowledge of best practices with audio editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Pro Tools, Audacity) Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) and Mac systemsStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management across JPMC and the CIB Ability to juggle multiple ongoing projects, work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities Interest and knowledge in business, finance and economics

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Familiarity with media production workflows and best practices for web and digital applications Knowledge of audio and video rights and clearance issues Experience in pre-production processes including storyboarding, pre-interviews and vendor sourcing
