Program Summary:
The Corporate Internship Program at Great Wolf is a 10-week program lasting from June 3 - August 7, 2025. The program provides college students with paid, meaningful work experience that compliments their current coursework. Through an experiential and structured approach to learning, interns will gain hands-on experience with real-life work that is tied to the success of the team and Great Wolf's purpose of Bringing Joy to Families. In addition to meaningful assignments and working in a supportive business environment, students will be invited to participate in professional development opportunities, social activities to get to know fellow Pack Members and build relationships across other departments, and more. Students can expect regular mentorship and feedback to help develop the skills and experience that will position them to grow in their career area of choice.
Internship Summary:
The Corporate IT Support / Cybersecurity Intern will be developed to support and administer cybersecurity products that are used to manage workflows on user computing platforms. In this role, you will learn how high-level cybersecurity strategy is developed and will be tasked with exploring opportunities to advance current technical capabilities utilizing platforms already in use at Great Wolf. You will also learn strategies around vulnerability management, system update & security patch deployment on user systems, as well as enhancing security awareness through actionable assignments with end-user phishing campaigns, primarily focusing on assisting with the delivery of key projects over the 10-week internship program.
Experiences You Will Gain:
Learn the day-to-day responsibilities of a cybersecurity professional by working with Great Wolf’s Information Security TeamLearn to conduct end-to-end Phishing Campaign(s) across the organization, including the development of spoofed emails, executive reporting, and tracking of end-user trainingHelp to identify opportunities for automation with new or enhanced workflows within Great Wolf’s security infrastructureLearn to audit IAM systems for consistency of structure and assignment of approved and appropriate permission sets (RBAC / role-based access control)Basic Qualifications & Skills:
Enrolled in a bachelor's program with a STEM focus (rising Junior or Senior preferred)Successful completion of some computer science coursework - Information Security and Cloud computing coursework is helpful in this role but is not required.Unrestricted work authorization in the United States (sponsorship not provided)Willingness to work in a hybrid environment out of the downtown Chicago corporate officeAll employment offers are contingent upon a successful background checkDesired Qualifications & Traits

$21/hr (undergraduate) - $23/hr (graduate)
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and other perks.
