Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to perform an array of loan servicing activities for commercial real estate loans, corporate loans, syndicated loans, and club participation loans. Conducts frequent trouble-shooting of moderate to complex issues that require evaluation, originality, and critical thinking to apply the appropriate procedures, processes and techniques. Works closely with Corporate Loan Servicers, Corporate Loan Specialists, Team Leads, Trade Administrator, and Supervisor to ensure established processing timeframes are met and the department remains fully compliant with all rules/regulations instituted by the firm and various regulatory bodies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Establishes parallel monitoring processes and controls to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Establishes document tracking and reporting including receipt of and completeness of legal documents, loan, and financial information. Follow-up on missing and incomplete documentation.
• Monitors loans in progress and maintains files with sufficient documentation for third-party review and prepares files for timely audits.
• Monitors collateral, UCCs, taxes, insurance, and legal recordings and filings for loans in progress.
• May assist in scheduling and coordinating loan closings, and clear loan proceeds for disbursement.
• Prepares compliance and accounting records and reports, as required by management and regulatory agencies.
• May perform advanced loan calculations.
• Performs quality checks on data input sheets and audit required information for boarding on the banks servicing system.
• May work with attorneys and other financial or legal resources to obtain the correct, accurate documents.
• Performs monthly audits and reconciliations for third-party payments and loan-loan related expenses.
• Responds to internal and external auditor issues and inquiries.
• Provides training and guidance to less experienced staff.
• Assists in departmental projects that will improve efficiencies.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Reconciling bank and general ledger accounts.
• Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, electronic communication and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
