GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager of Lab Operations will be the primary point of contact for Luxottica Lab Services (LLS), Ray-Ban (RB), Oakley (OK), and other associated labs; responsible for new product introduction, catalog management, day to day operations, and managing new projects. The Manager also owns cross functional coordination with various internal and external resources to intake all EyeMed lab related issues, determine the root cause, coordinate a solution and communicate to any impacted parties. The Manager will also be responsible for managing and determine the direction of our new IOF Compliance Program as well as our DM Discount Lab Program, making key directional decisions on two critical EyeMed Lab Operations programs.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads and enables the functional design of the LLS, RB, and OK catalogs and associated functionality and manages changes in business needs to ensure it meets our end user’s needs. Lead provider and EyeMed financial analysis for Ray-Ban and Oakley package pricing during new product introduction. Review final recommendation with Ray-Ban, Oakley, and EyeMed Leadership team Designs the appropriate operational processes to follow as changes are made to the catalog in the test and production environment. Leads testing and implementation of all new products added to the LLS, RB,and OK Primary owner of the Dispensing Model (DM) Discount program, managing business operations and identifying improvements on a multi-million dollar revenue business Responsible for owning the In-Office Finishing (IOF) compliance process; developing and coordinate a process between Essilor, EyeMed Lab Operations, and EyeMed Provider Relations to ensure independent providers program compliance Work with key contacts from external labs to implement new technologies and innovative lab intiatives: Vision Web, LLS, Ray-Ban, and Oakley Leads monthly leadership meetings with LLS, VisionWeb, and EyeMed, reporting on current state of solution, identifying any potential issues or red flags, and reviewing proposed initiatives for enhancing the process Monitors system and solution health and creates operational reporting to proactively identify operational efficiencies and potential issues across entire EyeMed lab network. Responsible for communication plan due to system outages or other lab operations issues, ensuring impacted teams and providers are informed and have an outlet for questions. Mentors new resources on the team to educate them on our processes, procedures, and current initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years of professional experience in business, technology, and process-oriented environments Demonstrated success in problem solving, collaboration and communication Able to identify obstacles quickly and develop solutions that support the business Proficiency with Microsoft Office product suite Strong organizational and time management skills Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills Strong oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Industry experience related to eye care and/or optic/lens and frame experience Experience working with optical laboratories or like experience Experience leading resolution to cross-functional issue resolution Business Objects reporting experience Advanced Excel skills

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
