The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and possess a welcoming demeanor. This role ensures the office operates smoothly by managing front-desk responsibilities and providing administrative support. **Compensation:** $23/HR - $26/HR **What You’ll Do:** • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and employees with a warm, professional and a positive attitude. • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area to uphold a professional appearance. • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls professionally, promptly and efficiently. • Create, edit & terminate badges. • Direct food- be on top of what is happening in the building. • Write/Keep up procedure book for front desk – to use for back up as well as training security • Implement front desk visitor software • Help manage training room table shifts • Help keep up seat maps • Be able and willing to assist with other department needs such as collaborating with EA’s and HR • Work on creating list & keeping up to date-list of people that are fire wardens & first aid trained • Help with events after hours as needed • Create major events calendar with exec asst group and keep up to date • Emergency point of contact for health emergencies & maintenance emergencies **Qualifications and Skills** **Required:** • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus. • Experience working in a professional office setting required. • Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a related role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. **Preferred:** • Bilingual in Spanish and English **Key Competencies:** • Friendly and professional demeanor • Punctual & reliable • Confident in speaking with all levels of people including C-suite associates • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude **Why work at Serta Simmons Bedding?** When you join SSB, you become part of a winning and diverse team that is excited and committed to helping people get better sleep.
