Overview:
TP-Link is seeking an experienced and dynamic in-house paralegal to support our team and manage legal operations. This role involves managing a variety of tasks including legal operations, document collection, contract management, witness communications, and information management. You will serve as a notary public (and be expected to become a notary public if not already). Your excellent organizational skills, energy, and positive attitude will be essential to help us meet our goals and provide superlative legal support to the company.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Document Collection & Organization: Assist with gathering, organizing, and maintaining legal documents, including contracts, corporate filings, and other legal records.
+ Legal Operations (Ops): Support the day-to-day operations of the legal department, contributing to process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
+ SharePoint Management: Configure, manage, and maintain the company’s legal department SharePoint site, ensuring efficient document storage and retrieval.
+ Contract Management: Assist in the creation, review, and organization of contracts, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
+ Legal Correspondence: Draft and manage legal correspondence, ensuring that communications are clear, accurate, and timely.
+ Witness Communications: Support communications with witnesses in legal matters, ensuring smooth coordination and follow-up as required.
+ Document Notarization: Perform notarization duties as required, or become certified as a California Notary Public upon hire (at the company’s expense).
+ Additional Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling, filing, and preparing documents for attorneys as needed
Requirements
+ Education: A college degree is required.
+ Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal or in a legal operations role. Paralegal certification is helpful but not required.
+ Skills:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly (SharePoint experience is a plus).
+ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Smart, resourceful, and proactive with a great attitude and a "get it done" mindset.
+ Certification: Must be willing to become certified as a California Notary Public if not already certified.
Benefits
Salary range: $80,000 - $125,000
