Corporate Payroll Tax Supervisor
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS is looking for a Payroll Tax Supervisor to join our Shared Services team onsite at our corporate office in Greeley, CO. This person will lead the payroll tax team supporting the U.S. and Canada for 68,000+ team members. We are looking for a long-term team member to grow within the company and help us fulfill our mission of being the best in all that we do.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the payroll tax team, with 1 direct reportEnsure all companies are registered and licensed in all states with employeesRequest new payroll state, SUI and local tax accounts Responsible for quarterly and yearly tax filing of US W2sResponsible for yearly filing of Canada T4sResponsible for W2CsResearch and audit any out of balance accounts Troubleshoot and assist in resolution of tax filing issues with ADPTesting of regulatory changes in SAP Answer general questions from employees about tax setupAssist with governmental/compliance reportingMiscellaneous payroll tasks as assigned by supervisor/managerOther duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; CPP/FPC certification preferredPayroll tax knowledge requiredSupervisor experience required3-5 years of experience in similar roleSAP, ADP, Excel knowledge preferredMust be able to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of the jobMust have attention to detail and high level of accuracy Must be highly organized, self-motivated, proactive, and dependableMust be able to multi-task various projects and tasksMust be able to communicate clearly and concisely to internal and external customersCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary range of $77,000-$82,000; andIncentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
