What You’ll Be Doing
You will be joining an outstanding team working in Enterprise Real Estate and Workplace Transformation (ERE & WT). Enterprise Real Estate Strategy charts the strategic direction of CIBC’s workplaces globally. The team is responsible for the development of premises strategies in major regional centers to improve employee and client experiences, manage capital investment and operating expenses, while achieving CIBC’s purpose and ESG goals. We bring together research, data and thought leadership to generate a long-term perspective for our workplaces.
As the Corporate Real Estate Strategy Co-Op, your key focus will be to support the team, utilizing your experience and knowledge to advance strategic planning activities and the creation of standardized delivery processes and toolsets.

How you’ll succeed
Strategic Planning - Corporate Real Estate Initiatives – working closely with the real-estate strategy lead and subject-matter experts, you will help envision the future, shape and support advancement of CIBC’s premises strategies.
Analytical & Financial acumen –You have experience completing financial analysis and are aware of key financial considerations of investment decisions. This foundational knowledge will help you gather information from multiple sources, analyze, synthesize and visualize your insights in a meaningful manner.
Communication – Your strong oral and written communication skills will ensure internal partners are clear on objectives and have a sufficient level of detail. You will assist with the preparation of reports and decks. These artifacts will be presented to a variety of audiences and assist senior stakeholders in decisioning.
Organization – You will provide administrative support by scheduling meetings, taking and distributing notes and following up in critical items in a timely manner.
Process Improvement – You will contribute to the development of procedures, tool and templates including the design and preparation of these toolsets to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
Collaboration – You will have exposure to various stakeholders within the organization. Your ability to build relationships through trust, proactivity and the anticipation of your partner’s needs will help you succeed.
