Position:  Corporate Recruiter

Location: Columbus, OH

Job Description:

The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for the full life-cycle recruiting process for assigned divisions and/or positions. This is a hands-on recruiting role that requires a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and effective time management to fill open positions in a range of disciplines and develop talent pipelines for future staffing needs in assigned functional areas. This position is also responsible for interview coordination and administration of various talent acquisition related tasks.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the full life-cycle recruiting process for assigned roles, including but not limited to: Screen resumes, interview candidates, and administer appropriate assessments Refer qualified candidates through the selection process Conduct the reference, drug screen and background check processes Assure legal compliance through pre-employment; I-9 Extend employment offers, negotiate as required, and counsel candidates on corporate environment, benefits and programs Facilitate the interview team debrief process to calibrate candidates, determine next steps, and refine sourcing plan as necessary Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned positions; manage external job postings or advertisements; direct source candidates via LinkedIn and online resources when appropriate Work directly with hiring managers during interview and onboarding process Develop talent pipelines through building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates, current staff, and other external resources to identify highly qualified professionals and emerging talent Provides support to all recruiting activities, including updating job advertisements in the Applicant Tracking System, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, screening resumes, and monitoring background check completion Manage the background check process for Talent Acquisition; serve as the point of contact for background check related issues and candidate communication Manage candidate activity in the applicant tracking system and assist in developing requirements and recommendations for improved systems and processes Manage candidates throughout the hiring process, developing strong candidate relationships and collaborating with others to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the selection process Represent the company at career fairs, professional conferences, community networking events, and targeted colleges and universities, as needed Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills Desire for a long-term career with an industry leading company Ability to present and maintain a positive corporate image in a fast paced environment Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Experience with ATS tools a plus
