What you will be doing 

We are seeking a Manager of Corporate Retail Integrity. This position will focus on developing and supporting Company and Divisional strategies and tactics with regard to Retail Integrity, Store level price accuracy, Store level pricing execution, as well as other day-to-day activities and procedures.  

This role will act as a common point of contact and represent the business in partnership with other functional groups regarding the areas above, while supporting the company’s belief in being locally great and nationally strong. These partnerships include:  

The Corporate pricing teams, Corporate Merchandising, Strategic Sourcing, Merchandising Data Services, National Accounting Service Center (NASC), Front-End Division Directors, and most importantly Division Retail Integrity Manager (RIMs). 

The position will be based in Boise, Idaho. 

 

Main responsibilities 

Responsible to communicate to, and act as a central point of contact for the Division Retail Integrity Manager (RIM) on pricing and sales requirements.   Partner and support Division Retail Integrity Managers to ensure the execution for all retail integrity programs in stores.  Manage and coordinate processes with the Category Management Team, to ensure store level compliances in all programs.  Develop and support Division/Store Audit standards to include:  Train and ensure quality control process are in place to support promotions and ad pricing, minimizing store intervention.  Ensuring all Scanning Operational procedures are executed in a manner complying with the Company’s Scan and Scale Accuracy Policy, maintaining retail integrity in all stores.  Provide support and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal retail pricing standards, including:  Weight & Measures & Tares, WIC & Food Stamps, Controlled substances, Age restriction, Tax laws, Out of Code, Product Rotation, Pricing Accuracy & Offer Accuracy, and Store Signage Compliance (Age restriction/Pricing)  Coordinate with IT Service Managers and Installation Services Teams through project planning as it relates to backstage systems support, including software transitions and installations.   Understand the impact of Company profitability, using the tools; POS and Host Pricing Files, Marketing Analytics, Company Dashboards and Databases.  Develop and execute SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources to support retail integrity initiatives and solve issues.  Act as a key business partner for the development of Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) solution, assisting in ongoing testing and deployment of solution, helping to create efficiencies for retail stores.   Oversee testing for backstage enhancements, changes, and additions that impact a store.  Partner with strategic sourcing to ensure successful retail transitions for supplies and services vendor transitions.  

 

What we are searching for  

5+ years’ experience in Backstage Operations, including DSD/BDR, Store File Maintenance, and Retail Integrity above a store level.  Ability to execute job requirements while treating others with courtesy, dignity, and respect.   Advanced PC skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).   Advanced skillset in PowerBI, navigation, and pulling data.  Advanced skillset in MS Excel, including ability to write and pull queries and analyze data.  Excellent presentation skills, including ability to present analyses and recommendations to Senior Management.  Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate new processes and changes to Senior Leadership.  Capable of handling multiple assignments and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines.  Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, passion, and ownership in their work.  Takes pride in helping others succeed.     Ability to effectively work independently and remotely.  Must have good inter-personal skills and be a team player.  Capable of developing and mentoring others.  Committed to being part of a team in a highly collaborative work environment.   Welcomes opportunities to learn and grow outside of core job responsibilities.  Ability to successfully partner and collaborate with internal business stakeholders at division and corporate level.  4-year college degree preferred or equivalent Backstage Operations experience.
