About the Role

As an Associate Account Executive (B2B Sales), you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and helping to close deals that drive revenue for our sales and events services. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter looking to develop their skills in B2B sales, particularly in the event management industry.  

Key Responsibilities:  

Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, and social media networking. Focus on key decision-makers in the event and corporate space.  Client Outreach & Relationship Building: Engage with potential clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand their event needs, offering tailored solutions that align with their objectives.  Sales Presentations & Proposals: Collaborate with senior sales staff to create compelling sales presentations and proposals. Provide event solutions that meet client goals and budget.  Pipeline Management: Assist in maintaining an active sales pipeline, tracking leads, and ensuring timely follow-up through CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).  Client Onboarding: Help transition new clients to the project management team, ensuring all details are communicated clearly for smooth event execution.  Market Research: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging event technologies. Leverage insights to offer innovative solutions to clients.  Sales Reporting: Track individual performance against targets and goals, providing regular updates to sales leadership.  Team Collaboration: Work closely with the event planning, marketing, and creative teams to ensure alignment of client needs and the overall event strategy. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales or customer-facing roles. Event industry experience is a plus but not required.  Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Comfortable with cold calling and email outreach.  Sales Acumen: A passion for sales, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting client needs.  Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Teams).  Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accuracy.  Team Player: Collaborative attitude and ability to work cross-functionally with different departments.  Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
