Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator (Disney Entertainment)

You will support and manage CSR efforts across Disney Entertainment (DE), while aligning with the larger Walt Disney Company’s CSR purpose and business objectives. You are highly motivated, detailed-oriented team player, who wants to make a positive impact on our business and the community, can champion pro-social efforts, and is excited to work on initiatives via philanthropy and more, while providing administrative support to the Director and broader team. **What You Will Do** + Provides administrative support to Director including scheduling meetings, managing calendar and expenses as well as other administrative duties + Assist the broader team with administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, preparing meetings, taking notes and addressing other priority administrative requests + Manage, process and track all charitable cash and in-kind contributions for DE CSR, maintaining communication with nonprofit partners and Disney employees + Vet charitable organizations to ensure they meet Disney’s Giving Guidelines for any DE cash or in-kind support or mention/inclusion within DE content + Maintain team calendar of upcoming priorities, events and activations + Support DE-specific employee engagement initiatives through the Disney VoluntEARS program + Assist the team with presentation decks, campaigns, events and other special projects as needed + Conduct comprehensive research into best practices and industry trends to help create best-in-class CSR initiatives and offerings + Special projects and additional tasks as needed **Basic Qualifications** + 1+ years of professional experience with demonstrated success in corporate social responsibility, environmental/sustainability work, communications, or related roles in a nonprofit setting + A vested interest in social causes, sustainability, and/or philanthropy + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail + Demonstrated time management and organizational skills + Resourceful and able to troubleshoot effectively + Experience analyzing, reporting, and summarizing data relevant to the existing landscape + Quick learner with boundless curiosity and a passion for delivering excellence + Demonstrated motivation and discipline to work effectively in a collaborative, high-paced environment + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mac iOS, and Adobe Suite. **Preferred qualifications** + Knowledge of communications channels, digital tools (intranets, social media, etc.), Cybergrants (Grant Management System) and project management platforms + Event planning or coordination experience + Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) + Experience with Smartsheet + Proficiency in Keynote, Dreamweaver **Education** + B.A. or equivalent experience in Corporate Social Responsibility, Communications, Nonprofit Administration, Marketing, or related field The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $64,300 to $80,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
