Overview The Manager – Corporate Strategy & Operations will operate as a key member of Gallagher's Internal Consulting group, focusing on driving the company's corporate strategy and operational efficiency. This role will collaborate with senior leaders and staff to address critical business issues and support decision-making processes that will fuel growth and success. This role will initially focus primarily on high-visibility post-merger integrations. Depending on deal volume, additional assignments for this role may include redesigning Gallagher's future operating models, implementing strategic organizational changes, and managing programs across various growth and efficiency initiatives. The Manager will be responsible for scoping, leading projects that involve quantitative analysis, business case modeling, designing innovative work methods, restructuring business and functional units, providing change management support, assess the potential for technology and offshoring, and cultivating strong internal client relationships. Ideal location for this role is in Chicago - in our Rolling Meadows corporate office. How you'll make an impact Collaborate with functional and divisional business leaders to drive high-visibility post-merger integration activities, with a strong focus on leveraging workstreams to realize deal synergies: Provide executive leadership with decision support and synthesis on integration of mega deals Utilize exceptional problem-solving skills to provide decision support for executive leadership Synthesize input from multiple sources to deliver executive-friendly presentations Spearhead corporate integration planning and management office activities Develop PMO documents to effectively track, communicate progress, mitigate execution risks Where required, provide execution support to our business stakeholders Ability to quickly deliver value in a dynamic situation, identifying and providing execution support to executive stakeholders where needed Continue the buildout and scaling of mega-deal integration capabilities Partner with divisions and our offshore Center of Excellence to create scalable integration capabilities Develop processes and tools to leverage for future integrations About You Bachelor's degree in related field. 3 to 5 years of management consulting experience with minimum 1 year of experience on integration planning and post-merger integration Comfortable with analyzing data to build robust models and communicate insights Fluent in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Experience with due diligence, org design, and change management (Preferred) Experience working with an Insurance broker or other company within the Insurance industry (Preferred) Experience driving PMO and managing complex projects with multiple workstreams across functions and departments (Preferred) Experience managing junior team members and guiding the development and review of large cross-functional deliverables (Preferred) Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Think-Cell Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
