The Corporate Tax Manager will manage the Company’s Federal and State income tax compliance function. It will assist as needed with Federal and State income tax audits including notices.  It will assist with the Company’s ASC 740/FIN 48 matters and work closely with the Company’s external financial statement auditors.

Core Responsibilities:

Contribute to the Company’s Federal and State income tax planning and project initiatives. 

Assist with the Company’s quarterly and annual effective tax rate calculations for ASC 740 and FIN 48.

Assist as needed with Federal and State income tax audits.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting or related field and 5+ years of professional accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership is required.

Certified Public Accountant, required.

Intermediate knowledge of U.S. and State income tax laws. 

Intermediate knowledge of US GAAP accounting for income taxes. 

Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Working knowledge of CorpTax Compliance system, SAP, and Hyperion.

Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and proficient with other Microsoft Office tools.

Displays professionalism and integrity.

Proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to think creatively.

Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills.

Must be able to travel 10% of the time.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise, manage, and direct six to eight direct reports and multiple FTE external consultants on a daily basis. 

Provides leadership and guidance to employees in the financial reporting department.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
