Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Corporate Tax Staff Accountant in Center Valley , Pennsylvania. As a key member of our team, you will be tasked with ensuring compliance with various state and local tax laws and maintaining accurate financial records. This role will have you working directly under the supervision of the Tax Manager, focusing on operational tax compliance deadlines in areas such as sales tax, use tax, VAT, and property tax. Responsibilities: • Accurately prepare, file, and pay taxes in a timely manner • Support all facets of U.S. sales and use tax compliance, including upkeep of the compliance calendar • Assist in tax matters related to Canadian, UK, Dutch, and other international jurisdictions as required • Renew and maintain business licenses, tax registrations, and other local business taxes • Collaborate with internal accounting/finance staff and liaise with external tax compliance partners to ensure required data is provided accurately and promptly • Provide Level 1 Administrator support for our tax email box, serving as the initial contact point for employees, customers, and vendors for tax inquiries • Review vendor invoices for charged sales tax • Provide assistance during transactional tax audits • Aid Tax team members in various duties as needed For immediate consideration please apply directly to job posting or call 610-882-1600 Requirements • Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services software • Familiarity with CCH Sales Tax application • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive Accounting Functions • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Skilled in Accrual Accounting methodology • Competence in managing and maintaining Balance Sheet Accounts Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
