Description We are seeking a Corporate Tax Staff Accountant to join our team located in Montvale, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and processing of federal and state tax credits, the application of advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting, and communication with clients to ensure seamless operations. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you'll also be managing projects while demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills, and interpreting payroll systems and reports accurately. Responsibilities: • Manage and process various federal and state tax credits, including Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC), R& D Tax Credits, Employee Retention Credit (ERC) • Apply advanced Excel skills for thorough data analysis and comprehensive reporting • Foster effective communication with clients to facilitate smooth operations • Handle multiple projects, demonstrating exceptional time management and organizational abilities • Accurately analyze and interpret payroll systems and reports • Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, CCH Sales Tax, and Concur, among other tools, to facilitate accounting functions • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accrual accounting processes • Conduct auditing and balance sheet account management tasks • Ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Mastery of BlackLine software • Familiarity with CCH Sales Tax • Proficiency in using Concur • Ability to perform various Accounting Functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting principles and practices • Experience in Auditing • Understanding and management of Balance Sheet Account • Demonstrable experience in Corporate Tax Compliance Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
