Description We are looking for a Corporate Tax Staff Accountant to join our team based in Montvale, New Jersey. In this role, you will be managing and processing both federal and state tax credits, utilizing advanced spreadsheet skills for data analysis and reporting, and communicating effectively with clients to ensure smooth operations. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Manage and process various tax credits such as Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC), R& D Tax Credits, Employee Retention Credit (ERC) • Utilize accounting software systems like ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, CCH Sales Tax, and Concur for efficient and accurate processing • Effectively communicate with clients to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction • Analyze and interpret payroll systems and reports accurately using your knowledge of accounts payable and accrual accounting • Oversee projects demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills • Maintain a balance sheet account and ensure corporate tax compliance • Use your auditing skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in all tasks Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services • Experience with BlackLine • Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax • Ability to use Concur • Understanding of various Accounting Functions • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) • Expertise in Accrual Accounting • Experience in Auditing • Ability to manage Balance Sheet Account • Experience in Corporate Tax Compliance Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
