The Technical Services department is looking for a Corporate & Technical Services Intern to join their team in Eden Prairie!
Position Summary:
The Corporate Services Intern will learn about commercial estimating, account coordination and project management. This will include a hands-on approach for commercial estimating, jobsite coordination and overall project management for key Corporate Services partnerships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete and present a capstone project related to department business needs. This will include research, analysis, and presenting the overall findings and suggestions to peers and Cambria Leaders.
Train on software including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Measure Square, JIRA and estimating workbooks to generate, manage and provide estimates for internal and external.
Use Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and learn about other platforms used to track projects.
General support and research across multiple business functions – Corporate Sales, Corporate Services, Technical Services, Cambria R&D, Cambria Fabshop system and Cambria Plant.
Suggest process improvements and efficiencies along with tracking of KPI's.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong attention to detail
Critical thinking and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently or within a team
Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and successfully meet deadlines
Previous estimating experience
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Pursuing an AAS or higher degree in Construction Project Management or similar major. Expected graduation date of 2025, 2026, and 2027.
Experience: Some experience in a related field preferred
Systems: Proficient with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Programs, Google Suites
Additional Requirements:
Managerial Responsibilities: No
Travel Requirements: Limited travel locally (Eden Prairie, Belle Plaine and Le Sueur)
Physical Requirements: In-office position requiring telephone and computer use. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds for displays, samples and other marketing materials
Program Dates: May 19, 2025 - August 8, 2025; M-F; 40 hour work week
