We are currently seeking a Full-Time Expanded Function Dental Assistant or Hygienist to provide corrections-focused training to our dental teams working in correctional facilities across the country.  Training is conducted on-site in a controlled/secure environment; therefore, the successful candidate will be required to pass a facility background clearance.


Responsibilities:

Adhere to the requirements of the Company as a Corporate Trainer.Provide initial and ongoing training for dental teams Local and overnight travel, including out of state travel Function as a chairside assistant when neededWork with facility staff to ensure patient flowProvide instruction on room set/up and breakdown, including portable equipment Instruct dental teams on Company protocols, policies, and documentationAssist as needed with updating Company protocols to ensure compliance with dental industry standards Communicate with Corrections Manager at the Corporate Office on a regular basis Requirements

  

Comfortable assisting in all aspects of general dentistry with an emphasis in oral surgeryOrganized, self-motivated, and possess good time management skillsMinimum of 3 years' experience working as an EFDA or Hygienist (skilled in chairside assisting)Experience as an instructor or trainer preferred but not requiredPossess a current certification as an EFDA or licensed dental HygienistActive and current dental radiology certificateMust be reliable and dependableMust have flexibility and willingness to adjust to unexpected schedule changes
