Job Description

PCG is seeking a Corporate Travel Agent for its corporate headquarters based in Lenexa, KS. This individual will be responsible for the following:

Booking and issuing domestic and international airline itineraries, hotel reservations, car reservations, train tickets, travel insurance, other land transportationProcess travel requests, sometimes booking 30-40 transactions a dayAssist travelers and planners with complex itinerariesProvide online and agent assist reservation fulfillment; ticketing, exchanges, refunds and voidsReview, negotiate and make recommendations with event contracts as neededMonitor and support corporate travel department email and telephonesMaintain traveler profiles 

 

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

At least 2 years experience working in a customer-facing positionMust have robust customer service skillsMust have excellent attention to detailMust have the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality Ability to process high-volume requests requiredOral and written communication skillsAbility to work in team environmentAbility to learn and apply new skillsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask

Preferred Requirements:

Experience working in the travel industryProficiency with travel booking systemsBachelor's Degree preferredExperience booking corporate travelExperience with international travel bookings and group travelExperience with Sabre Reservation SystemExperience with Acendas is preferredLocal to the Kansas City area
